Sergio Aguero scored the opener, but goals from Xabi Alonso and Robert Lewandowski turned it around before half time. A terrible mistake from Alonso allowed Aguero to equalize, and he scored the winner through another breakdown of the Bayern defense.
APOEL 0 Barcelona 4: A celebration for Lionel Messi, scoring a hat trick and becoming the top scorer in the history of the Champions League a few days after becoming the greatest scorer in the history of the Spanish La Liga.
PSG 3 Ajax 1: Another comfortable win for the top team in this group, taking the lead through Edinson Cavani. Davy Klaassen equalized, but Ibrahimovic and Cavani again made sure Ajax left with a bad taste in their mouth.
Schalke 0 Chelsea 5: Chelsea’s most impressive win in Europe this season to clinch a spot in the next round through first place. Ramires, Willian, Didier Drogba, John Terry and a weird own goal by Jan Kirchhoff did the job.
Sporting 3 Maribor 1: A match that got a bit long because of the lights going out, but in the end Sporting find themselves in second place with Nani, Carlos Mane and Islam Slimani scoring the goals for Sporting. Jefferson scored an own goal to make things interesting.
BATE 0 Porto 3: Porto clinch the top spot in the group with another convincing win, with Hector Herrera scoring the first goal before setting up both Jackson Martinez and Cristian Tello with goals of their own.Group H
