Another game, another draw for Manchester City (6th in a row, haven’t won since September 28th) and Liverpool with a second straight 2-2 home draw, like the one against Birmingham 10 days ago. Not a really good performance from both sides, as it seems City used it’s advantage talent-wise only in a short stretch during the second half, after Carlos Tevez came in. Liverpool scored first, with Skretl netting in a Steven Gerrard free kick cross, but then the reds disappeared, waking up only after finding themselves 2-1 down. Yossi Benayoun, playing injured, was the first to react to a deflected shot and saved Liverpool a point, which probably won’t satisfy anyone on these underachieving teams.

Emmanuel Adebayor, 69th minute

Stephen Ireland, 76th minute

Yossi Benayoun, 77th minute
