The 24-year drought might be coming to an end this season for Liverpool, as their 3-2 win over Norwich, making it 11 consecutive wins brings them closer to a league championship, and obviously sparking plenty of memes about them, current rivals and even some of them coming with a lot of self humor.

They haven’t been making it easy on themselves at the end. Not just the injuries (Daniel Sturridge) and suspensions (Jordan Henderson), but making things complicated in matches. After beating Manchester City 3-2 which included dropping a two goal lead until Philippe Coutinho scored a fantastic winner, some expected and hoped the visit to Norwich, a fixture that has been kind to Liverpool and especially Luis Suarez, will be slightly easier to make it through.

Same thing happened: Liverpool took an early lead and stopped played, which resulted in some tense moments. Norwich coming back, Liverpool scoring again and defending for their lives against dangerous crosses in the final minutes.

Raheem Sterling is having one heck of a finish to this season which should earn him a place in the England squad for the World Cup. Luis Suarez is sometimes  one-man offense, especially with the weird lineup Rodgers used to finish the match. Glen Johnson has his moments on both ends of the scale, letting the pressure get to him and almost costing Liverpool with some idiotic mistake, but the symbol of this season has to be Steven Gerrard, who can’t believe how close he is to completing his trophy cabinet set.
