They were wrong, dead wrong. Real came out firing, winning 5-2 in a very difficult stadium to play in. The scoreline doesn’t do Bilbao Justice, who were able to come back from 2-0 down with 10 men to a 2-2 score at halftime, but Real struck twice early in the 2nd half and despite Bilbao’s efforts, the Blancos held on to their lead, even converting a late penalty to cap off an impressive return to the league. Huntelaar proved his worth with his 2 goals that gave Real the lead and secured the lead in the first 15 minutes of the first half, showing how much he was missed in the Champions League games vs. Liverpool, because of his ineligibility. So for all the Real fans who have missed the game , here are the highlights for your enjoyment.
