Many were surprised when the Detroit Lions released safety Louis Delmas before this weekend as they made some cap clearing moves, as he’s definitely a player who won’t have much trouble finding a good contract on a new team, with interest possibly coming from the Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Houston Texans & St. Louis Rams.

Most Points Scored in the NBA All-Star Game

The 2014 NBA All-Star game will be the 63rd edition of the best exhibition event in North American sports, as a few players will try to join Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players with 40 points or more in the event. With Kevin Durant having the year he’s having, and LeBron James obviously capable, we might see a third player join that extremely short list.

NFL Rumors – Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts & St. Louis Rams Interested in Signing Nate Burleson

There’s not a lot of demand, usually, for a 13-year veteran wide receiver who has just been released. NBA Rumors – San Antonio Spurs Interested in Signing Beno Udrih

There doesn’t seem to be anything too special about Beno Udrih that the San Antonio Spurs don’t already have in one of their backup point guards, but in any case, despite their interest, the only chance of him leaving the New York Knicks and joining his former team seems to be a buyout and release, because he has a close to zero trade value.

NBA Rumors – Los Angeles Lakers Hoping to Trade Pau Gasol & Chris Kaman

There’s a huge difference this season about how the Los Angeles Lakers are approaching the trade deadline. Instead of trying to add a piece that improves them, their about setting themselves up for the future with draft picks and more space under the salary cap. For that to happen, moving Pau Gasol and/or Chris Kaman seems like their main objective.
