Who won the 2012 Olympics? No real answer, but the United States, again, won more medals than anyone else, beating China to the top spot in the overall rankings and the gold medal count, but Great Britain, the hosts, had a sensational two weeks. In total, 85 nations won an Olympic medal, including a first ever medal for Bahrain, Montenegro, Guatemala, Gabon, Cyprus, Botswana and Grenada.
