Ben Youngs Just About Enough (England vs Argentina)
This wasn’t the performance Martin Johnson expected from his 2011 Six Nations winning side. No one expected Jonny Wilkinson to miss so much. Argentina were the more physical, dominant side for the first 60 minutes, but Ben Youngs’ entrance to Scrum-Half shifted momentum and also got England the only try of the match, enough for a 13-9 opening match win.

The Real NFL Dream Team (Saints vs Packers)
The defense might not have been of the highest quality all game long, but it mattered the most, the Green Bay Packers got their stops, right on time, right on the goalline. Aaron Rodgers had a near perfect game, getting beaten by Drew Brees in the stat section but getting the W infront of a packed Lambeau field to open their Super Bowl title defense in 2011 with a 42-34 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Rain Delay Ain’t a Problem for Roger (Federer vs Tsonga)
It’s not like Roger Federer has got an easier opponent waiting for him in the Semi Finals – Novak Djokovic, the hottest thing in world tennis, but beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in straight sets, avenging that Wimbledon defeat and and coming out firing after another rain delay has got to have Federer pleased with the way he’s playing right now. In my opinion, the best performer so far in the US Open.

A Less Than Brilliant Opening (All Blacks vs Tonga)
A 41-10 win with the bonus point already earned in the first half, with both Israel Dagg and Richard Kahui scoring two tries in the first half is certainly a good way to open the Rugby World Cup, but failing to get too much going in the second half as Tonga finally found a way to waste some time with the ball and even score will probably get some worried minds in the New Zealand camp.

The most successful club in Italian football inaugurated their brand new stadium, yet to be named (The Juventus Arena for now) in a draw with Notts County, the club that brought the Nerrazuri the Zebra colors in the beginning of the 20th century. The first modern football stadium in Italy, in Juventus there’s hope and belief that a new era, with new titles and long lost success will begin.

2011 College Football Rankings – Week 1
The national champions Auburn hardly impressed during week one, barely beating Utah State 42-38, knocking them out of the first AP top 25 rankings of the college football season. The Tiger become just the second national champions to fall out of the rankings on after the first week of action. The pre season top ranked team, Oklahoma, remained at the top spot.
