The Washington Redskins aren’t a very good team, but they’re leading the NFC East with Kirk Cousins at quarterback after beating the New York Giants, with memes making fun of Eli Manning and Odell Beckham.
Beckham is being made fun of because he had another incredible catch for a touchdown, but the Giants ended up losing the game. Manning? He went back to his Eli ways and threw three interceptions before waking up when it’s a little bit too late to throw two late meaningless touchdowns.
And the Redskins? They’re leading the worst division in the NFL (at least according to the team’s records) with a 5-6 record and Kirk Cousins, yes, Kirk Cousins, at quarterback, as the tradition of him avoiding turnovers translating into wins for Washington.
How does this division end? Impossible to know. The 4-7 Eagles might still win it. Mathematically, the 3-8 Cowboys can still win it, but they won’t. The Giants are still the best team in it, but with Manning still prone to games like these, they’re facing an uphill battle. Washington? They might get lucky and somehow make it through.
