Heat @ Hornets, Game 3: Jeremy Lin Starting, Kemba Walker Changing (???), Steve Clifford Inflexible

As the Charlotte Hornets enter game 3, which in most playoff series with a team down 2-0, is the one that tells us whether there’s any reason to keep watching. Nicolas Batum is out, Jeremy Lin will probably start. Does this mean that Steve Clifford will try something new against the Miami Heat? Hard to say knowing his opinions, and the fact that Kemba Walker remains the guy he thinks is going to win him this series.

NBA Rumors – Golden State Warriors Proud of Draymond Green & Andrew Bogut Being Dirty Players

The moment you’re the best team in the league and defending NBA champions, there’s a bigger bullseye paint on your back. The Golden State Warriors and especially their fans hate hearing about it, but as long as Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut keep pulling s*** like this, the perception of being dirty and referees pets […]

NBA Playoffs – Raptors & Thunder Take 2-1 Leads, Rockets Stay Alive

Thursday night action in the NBA playoffs put all three series in play at a 2-1 situation: The Oklahoma City Thunder crushed the Dallas Mavericks to take the lead, the Toronto Raptors felt comfortable in Indianapolis against the Pacers to go up as well while the Houston Rockets finally showed some grit and a bit of clutch to win their first game in the series with the Golden State Warriors.

NBA Playoffs Predictions: Thunder vs Mavericks, Raptors vs Pacers, Warriors vs Rockets

Three series in the NBA playoffs move into the switching cities phase, as we get to game 3. The Oklahoma City Thunder hosted by the Dallas Mavericks (tied at 1-1), Toronto Raptors going to the Indiana Pacers (tied at 1-1) and the Houston Rockets bring the Golden State Warriors over for a visit, hoping to win for the first time in this postseason.

Jeremy Lin Kinda Flat, Kemba Walker Changes Nothing, Steve Clifford Stupidly Stubborn, Hornets Need Miracle

The Miami Heat take a 2-0 lead over the Charlotte Hornets with a 115-103 win. Steve Clifford thought everything was fine, so why change things this time around? Kemba Walker scored meaningless points, Jeremy Lin had a difficult to define game, but overall, the Heat keep having their way on both ends of the floor, comfortably rolling towards what should be a place in the conference semifinals.

NBA Playoffs – Cavaliers, Heat & Clippers Take 2-0 Lead

The NBA Playoffs march on towards possibly conclusions in the first round, as there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of series capable of going the distance. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers moved on comfortably to take a 2-0 lead without the Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers giving them a lot of trouble.

Hornets @ Heat, Game 2: Jeremy Lin Waiting for Steve Clifford to Wake Up

Time to see what the Charlotte Hornets are made of or more accurately – if Steve Clifford watched and learned what he should from the first game against the Miami Heat. Less Kemba Walker, more Jeremy Lin, demand his defense to help in mismatches and yell at them to move the ball.

NBA Playoffs – Golden State Warriors Have Klay Thompson & Andre Iguodala to Cover for Their Injured MVP

The glimmer of hope the Houston Rockets had of turning their playoff series with the Golden State Warriors around was whisked away with a loss in game 2 despite not facing Stephen Curry. Turns out Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala and the others can handle themselves just fine.

6th Man of the Year: Jeremy Lin Wasn’t Robbed, Jamal Crawford Doesn’t Deserve It

Handing the Sixth Man of the Year award to Jamal Crawoford for the third time in his career suggests the people voting for it haven’t been watching a lot of basketball this season. I’m not sure Jeremy Lin did enough to win it, but it probably should have gone to someone else.

NBA Playoffs – Golden State Warriors Confidence, Stephen Curry Ankles & Houston Rockets Opportunity

Heading into game 2 of the first round series between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets, the NBA champions have a decision to make: Trust the taping on Stephen Curry to keep his ankles from once again causing him problems, or giving the rest of the team a vote of confidence in their ability to handle the Houston Rockets in Curry’s absence.
