NFL Rumors – New York Giants in Trouble With Both Victor Cruz & Hakeem Nicks
Up until this point in the preparations chapter of the 2013 NFL season, it was quite clear the New York Giants have a problem with Victor Cruz, who is still negotiating a long-term contract with the team, not really advancing anywhere. The bigger surprise in the most recent turn of events is Hakeem Nicks also becoming somewhat of an issue, not showing up to the first OTA sessions, and not because he was injured.

San Diego Chargers & Oakland Raiders Sign Max Starks & Charles Woodson
The AFC West isn’t going to be as easy as it was last season for the Denver Broncos, or at least the San Diego Chargers and especially the Oakland Raiders won’t be as bad as they were. The Chargers added a much needed left tackle in Max Starks, while the Raiders brought home Charles Woodson, finally finding himself a team.

NFL Rumors – San Diego Chargers Might Bring Back Quentin Jammer
There are many surprised people to see Quentin Jammer still on the free agency market instead of getting ready for a season with a team. NFL Rumors – Chicago Bears Might Sign Richard Seymour or Casey Hampton
The Chicago Bears begin and end their planning for the next season with their defense, but it seems that even this far into the off-season, they’re a little bit thin when the interior of their defensive line is concerned, which means they might take a look at the remaining free agents and try and make a grab for either Richard Seymour or Casey Hampton.

NFL Rumors – Detroit Lions Out of the Charles Woodson Race
While some people thought that having Charles Woodson play in the state of Michigan (where he attended college) once again sounded like a good idea. NFL Rumors – New York Giants Thinking About Hakeen Nicks While Negotiating With Victor Cruz
There’s an unwritten rule that you don’t pay two wide receivers a #1 guy’s salary, which means that the New York Giants aren’t just making life difficult for Victor Cruz because they want to low-ball him, but they’re considering the contract they’re going to need to give Hakeem Nicks when the time comes, and they see him, despite his less impressive numbers, as their top receiver for the next few years.

NFL Rumors – Tampa Bay Buccaneers Relishing Competition Between Josh Freeman and Mike Glennon
After throwing for over 4000 yards last season (the first time in his career), it’s hard to believe Josh Freeman will somehow lose his starting quarterback job to rookie Mike Glennon. Still, Greg Schiano drafted the former North Carolina State QB for a reason, and there’s a chance that by the end of the season, or possibly even earlier if things go really bad, we might see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers making a change.

New England Patriots – Rob Gronkowski, the Surgery King
When Rob Gronkowski is healthy, he might be the best tight end in the NFL. He makes Tom Brady and the New England Patriots very difficult to beat, but it looks like that scenario is becoming something of a fantasy one, as Gronkowski might be heading towards a back surgery, in addition to his fourth operation on his broken arm, making him damaged goods before he enters his fourth NFL season.
