College Football – The 2012-2013 Bowl Season
The crown jewel of the 2012-2013 College Football bowl season will be Notre Dame playing against Alabama in the BCS national championship game, but the Fiesta Bowl, pitting Oregon and Kansas State against each other should be just as good. The Cotton Bowl (Oklahoma vs Texas A&M) and the Chick Fil-A Bowl (LSU vs Clemson) seem like better than the other BCS Bowls this season.

The list of the 10 most valuable teams in the NFL shows us that the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens, despite their lack of success in recent times, are still the top of the heap when it comes to economics and value. It also teaches us that if you’re going to profitable, you better be placed in the Eastern part of the United States, with the Kings being the exception, not the rule.

The greatest basketball player in history, and possibly his greatest achievement is being the most famous person on the planet for a while during the 1990’s, quite an accomplishment for an athlete.

Puskas Award – FIFA’s 10 Nominees for Goal of the Year in 2012
Once again, an award Messi can win and Ronaldo can’t. He isn’t even nominated. The Puskas Award, FIFA’s best goal of the year for 2012 has 10 goals up for the title, with Lionel Messi on the list, along with the dribbling (and last year’s champion) Neymar & Hatem Ben Arfa who are the big names on the list.
