    NBA April 16 Playoff Scores

The NBA Playoffs began with the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder crushing two clueless looking teams from Texas, the Atlanta Hawks barely edging the Boston Celtics in a game filled with mistakes, and the Indiana Pacers providing the only away win of the day, picking up their defense in the second half to add another disappointment to the long, sad history of the Toronto Raptors.

Golden State Warriors – So Good, So Boring

As expected, the Houston Rockets didn’t put up much of a fight. NBA Rumors – Warriors Depend on Stephen Curry First; Draymond Green Comes Second

With the number 73 waiting for them on the finish line, the Golden State Warriors didn’t slow down or rest a bit before the NBA playoffs. They set Stephen Curry loose for one final time on his poor regular season victims, making it seem possible that they might also have the best postseason run in history.

Jeremy Lin Starts & Sizzles, Al Jefferson Getting Better, Charlotte Hornets Stay Put

The Charlotte Hornets beat the Orlando Magic 117-103 to close out a fantastic regular season by their standards, starting Jeremy Lin instead of the injured Nicolas Batum and getting another fine performance from Al Jefferson off the bench, although all of that didn’t help them move up the Eastern Conference Standings, if they were even looking to do that.
