Jeremy Lin, Nicolas Batum & Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Make the Charlotte Hornets Play the Right Basketball
In a game that seemed like a loss before it even began, the ability of Jeremy Lin to lead a team when he has the chance to be the point guard without interruptions, allowed the Charlotte Hornets to pick up a huge 106-97 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, with another big game from Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, excellent shooting from Marvin Williams and Frank Kaminsky, and all this without Kemba Walker on the floor.

Jeremy Lin Might get the Charlotte Hornets All to Himself for One Night
The Charlotte Hornets might begin their four-game homestand against the best team in the Eastern conference with a lot of players sitting out. Kemba Walker is dealing with knee problems, Nicolas Batum with his toe issues, Cody Zeller is still questionable. Who is left? Jeremy Lin (hopefully with a good ankle), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marvin Williams? Doesn’t sound like much.

Jeremy Lin Hobbles, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Bounces & the Charlotte Hornets Cruise
The West coast tour ends with a 101-82 win for the Charlotte Hornets against the Los Angeles Lakers. Jeremy Lin didn’t exactly shine “thanks” to an ankle injury but enjoyed watching Kobe Bryant & Byron Scott lose another game, while Marvin Williams and an aggressive and energetic Michael Kidd-Gilchrist pick up the scoring mantle.

Notes on Jeremy Lin, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Walker-Batum & Rest of the Charlotte Hornets Season
The Charlotte Hornets finish their Western conference tour in a state of flux. Nicolas Batum just coming back and doing more harm than good, Jeremy Lin injured and not given the credit he deserves, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returning without any transition phase, Steve Clifford confusing us with sudden creativity and chance taking in an almost lost game and one Kemba Walker, who plays the same way and seems to be unaffected with everything around him, while not affecting anything himself.

Jeremy Lin is Resting, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Returning & the Charlotte Hornets Regressing
The Charlotte Hornets lost for the second time in a row, beaten 109-91 by the Portland Trail Blazers. Jeremy Lin didn’t play due to an ankle injury, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was back for the first time this season, Nicolas Batum failed in his attempt to impress against his former team and Kemba Walker was mostly shooting bricks, and mysteriously benched in the fourth quarter.

Jeremy Lin Injury Means Charlotte Hornets Completely Reliant on Kemba Walker & Nicolas Batum
The Charlotte Hornets have Nicolas Batum back and didn’t wait to put him back in the lineup despite him being rusty and sluggish from his recurring toe injury, which meant Jeremy Lin moving back to the bench. Steve Clifford showed very little wisdom in that choice, which resulted in a terrible loss against the Utah Jazz.

Jeremy Lin Bad & Injured, Charlotte Hornets Awful, Kemba Walker in his Own Bubble
The Charlotte Hornets produced their worst game of the season, losing 102-73 to the Utah Jazz, ending a three game win-streak as Jeremy Lin returned to the bench and hurt his ankle, Nicolas Batum returned to the lineup and didn’t do anything good while Kemba Walker scored, but that didn’t sweep the team with him towards some sort of comeback.

Jeremy Lin, Kemba Walker Playing Well Affects Charlotte Hornets Differently
One tweet in a response to our post about the Charlotte Hornets beating the Sacramento Kings while praising Jeremy Lin and well, not so much Kemba Walker, mentioned that it’s not obligatory to give Lin the thumbs up while bashing Walker every time.

Jeremy Lin & Troy Daniels Overcome Kemba Walker Misses to Save the Charlotte Hornets
The Charlotte Hornets beat the Sacramento Kings and DeMarcus Cousins 129-128 in a double overtime game behind mostly Troy Daniels, Jeremy Lin and Marvin Williams, while Kemba Walker had another one of those disastrous shooting nights that almost cost the team a game.

Jeremy Lin Critical For Charlotte Hornets in Taking Shots Away From Kemba Walker
Beginning a four-game West Coast road trip, the Charlotte Hornets need to look back at their win over the New York Knicks and the difference in that win between Jeremy Lin and Kemba Walker to know what’s the right thing for them to do.
