Arsenal FC – The Day Arsene Wenger Lost Control, Again
It wasn’t surprising that Arsenal went down as the beaten team in a home match, despite their record at the Emirates stadium in Champions League matches. A team that only has Jack Wilshere to look at for some sort of creativity for most of the match, and a stubborn and somewhat blind to change manager like Arsene Wenger on the sidelines, can’t expect to get very far.

Full Transcript of Arsene Wenger Losing it in Press Conference
This season is certainly not doing Arsene Wenger and Arsenal any good. The early exit in the FA Cup (losing at home to Blackburn), the unconvincing for in the Premier League (currently outside the top 4) and being the underdogs in the Champions League (vs Bayern Munich) all added up to make Wenger put up a bizarre display in the pre-match press conference.

Arsenal FC – Santi Cazorla Enough for an Unusual Win
It’s been an unusual season for Arsenal, struggling to play the kind of football they’re known for, but maybe coming up and revealing a side of them not many thought they had, as their most talented players, like Santi Cazorla, have gone through the motions and are hitting back their earlier form at the perfect time.

Arsenal FC – Lukas Podolski Needs a Little Bit of Luck
Lucky win? Arsenal did deserve to come out as the winners for once, but not with the usual style their known for, that hasn’t been bringing them lots of points this season. Lukas Podolski scored the winning goal, needing a lucky touch to actually see it go in, but winning ugly is something Arsenal might need to start doing more often.

Arsenal FC – Olivier Giroud & Theo Walcott in Promising Partnership
Once again, the defense looked terrible whenever it was pressed. Not for the first time, Arsenal hardly showed up for the first half. Yet there were enough positives to take from a match which could have ended as another disaster, instead finishing with a positive note, thanks to the improving partnership of Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal FC – Lukas Podolski Waking Up From Slumber
If Arsene Wenger could have asked for one performance to restore some faith in his decisions and his brand of football, it was this. Not just the win, not just the ability, but the players who played the key part in it, all three he signed in the summer: Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla and even Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal FC – Still Playing the Terrible Olivier Giroud
Matches upon matches of no goals from his French striker haven’t convinced Arsene Wenger that Olivier Giroud is a failure, and won’t be the answer to his scoring problems. Instead of letting Theo Walcott play the way he wants, he keeps relying on someone who is proving again and again that scoring goals isn’t his best quality.

Arsenal FC – The Jack Wilshere They’ve Been Waiting For
They keep telling us that Jack Wilshere is the next big thing, the complete midfielder. Maybe one cold evening in North London was what Arsenal were waiting for – Wilshere playing at his best.

Arsenal FC – Arsene Wenger Not the Only One to Blame
Arsene Wenger can’t hold on to world class players, and is eventually left with none; Laurent Koscielny is a terrible, irresponsible centre back who costs his team points; Olivier Giroud is a walking, expensive failure. And we’re still not done with everything wrong at Arsenal this season.

Arsenal Should Get Rid of Laurent Koscielny
Mike Dean was the worst referee of the day, despite Howard Webb also officiating an earlier match. Vincent Kompany should never have been sent off. Laurent Koscielny, on the other hand, should have been. Arsene Wenger needs to learn from Dean, and send away this terrible centre back from Arsenal.
