Chicago Bulls – Derrick Rose & Jimmy Butler Are the Best Backcourt in the NBA
The Chicago Bulls got Derrick Rose up and healthy once again, and the combination of him and Jimmy Butler was enough to overcome a resilient Boston Celtics team 109-102, with Rajon Rondo once again struggling to show why he should be considered one of the best point guards in the NBA in a direct showdown with one that has proven he belongs in that group.

Cleveland Cavaliers – LeBron James Loves Beating Rajon Rondo & the Boston Celtics
The plan for the Cleveland Cavaliers is to not rely so heavily on LeBron James, but sometimes there’s no choice, as a huge game from their biggest star helped them come back in a tremendous fourth quarter to beat the Boston Celtics 122-121, with Rajon Rondo embarrassing himself, messing up a chance to win the game.

NBA – Celtics vs Mavericks Predictions
The Dallas Mavericks keep doing badly in third quarters. New York Knicks – Carmelo Anthony Not Off to a Great Preseason
Following Carmelo Anthony through the summer gives us a glimpse of someone trying to be optimistic although there aren’t a lot of reasons to be. NBA Preseason – Boston Celtics Have Hope, Philadelphia 76ers Still Terrible
The Boston Celtics won’t make the playoffs this season. Neither will the Philadelphia 76ers, but even without Rajon Rondo (who might get traded at some point), there’s some ready talent on this team and not just extremely young players backed with too many draft picks. For Sixers fans, it’s just going to be another season of hovering around or having the worst record in the NBA.

Rajon Rondo Makes it Difficult for the Boston Celtics to Trade Him
It felt like the Boston Celtics were in a mode that led them to finally making a decision about trading Rajon Rondo or not. However, another injury, means he isn’t someone anyone will show interest in him, and the decision will have to be delayed until later int he season.

NBA Rumors – Boston Celtics Should Trade Rajon Rondo
Behind all the words and confusing comments, the Boston Celtics want to trade Rajon Rondo. Only they’re afraid to admit it because it means conceding that they’re tanking again, and it’ll mean making one of the more touchy and hard-to-handle players in the NBA angry about staying.

NBA Rumors – Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings & Charlotte Hornets Interested in Signing Brandon Bass
Not being too young and getting paid more than most players on a rebuilding team means Brandon Bass isn’t going to be staying for long. The Boston Celtics have been looking to pull off a trade involving the player for quite some time, and there has been interest in his direction from the Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings and Charlotte Hornets.

NBA Rumors – Boston Celtics & Rajon Rondo Still Not Over
In the blandness of the long NBA summer, the next step for Rajon Rondo and the Boston Celtics seems like huge drama. Despite the rumors suggesting the point guard wants out and now, both he and his agent are refuting these claims, suggesting he has no plans of playing for anyone else next season.
