NCAA Tournament Final – Michigan vs Louisville Predictions
Unlike last year, there is no clear favorite to win the men’s college basketball national title, although Louisville, fitting of its number one seed and ranking overall should be slightly favored to go home with their third NCAA Tournament championship, while Michigan hope that the evolution they’ve been going through since the beginning of the Big Dance peaks at the most important game of all.

NCAA Tournament – The 2 Teams in the National Championship Game
Two teams that trace their last NCAA titles to the 1980’s, Louisville (27 years ago) and Michigan (24 years ago) will meet in the first Big Ten vs Big East final since the Wolverines’ last win, as the Cardinals enter the final being the only number one seed left in the competition, and probably the […]

Michigan Wolverines – Mitch McGary On His Way to Win the Most Outstanding Player
Even when the Michigan Wolverines reached the number one spot on the AP Poll earlier this season, there were voices calling them fake and not good enough; not battle tested or proven. When the NCAA tournament began, that was the general consensus – Michigan are talented and fun to watch when Trey Burke has his game on. But in the national semifinal, Burke was awful, and Michigan still overcame an amazing defensive unit for the second time in a row, reaching the national title game for the first time in 20 years.

NCAA Tournament – Louisville & Michigan Complete Final Four Picture
The 2013 Final Four was set up after the second day of the Elite Eight weekend, as the only number one seed left in the tournament, Louisville, used the Kevin Ware injury to push them way too far and high for Duke to catch up, while Michigan showed Florida that not having any sort of offensive initiative isn’t the way to succeed against them, winning by way more than anyone expected.

Elite Eight – Duke vs Louisville Predictions
A game that could have easily been the NCAA tournament’s final if the seeding was slightly different, Duke and Louisville provide us with the only number one vs number two game in the bracket, with Big East defense and all-around solid basketball stepping up to take down incredible shooting and underrated ACC defense.

NCAA Tournament – Syracuse & Wichita State Make it Into the Final Four
The first half of the Elite Eight weekend began with one very surprising result, as Wichita State didn’t just play better defense than the Buckeyes from Ohio State, but actually beat them to make their first final four in nearly 50 years. In the Big Easy derby between Syracuse and Marquette we saw a basketball game that showed a lot of the problems of the sport, while the Orange were the main benefactors of the ugliness.

NCAA Tournament – Number One Seed Keep Falling & No More Cinderella
Watching number one seeds fall and witnessing Cinderella stories are part of the magic in every NCAA tournament. We’re running out of number one teams, as Louisville remain the only one standing after Kansas were beating by Michigan. On the other end of that spectrum, the magical run of Florida Gulf Coast is over, losing to Florida and leaving pretty much only big boys left in the dance.
