Washington Wizards – Not Used to This Kind of Success
It’s been quite a long time since the Washington Wizards have won a playoff series, but they’ve upset the Chicago Bulls, winning their first round series in five games, clinching it with a 75-69 victory, pulled through by John Wall and Nene and should be considered as very serious contenders to win the East, no matter who they face in the next round.

Los Angeles Clippers – Playing for an Owner You Hate
From here on out, everything the Los Angeles Clippers as a team – which means the players and head coach Doc Rivers, separated from the racist being of their owner, Donald Sterling, stands the test of separating what’s important and what isn’t, by trying to win a basketball game followed by another; winning in the playoffs, even thinking about a championship, while trying to make it about themselves and the fans, not the guy who owns the rights to the franchise from the NBA.

Indiana Pacers – What it Feels Like When a Season Falls Apart
It’s hard to know for sure what Indiana Pacers players are feeling right now, as their season and hopes for a championship continue to slip away from them in what is no longer a surprise, but it’s possible to take a guess. From putting all the blame on Roy Hibbert, to thoughts on Frank Vogel and generally trying to comprehend what the f@#$ is happening pretty much covers everything.

NBA Playoffs – Game 5 Predictions (Warriors vs Clippers, Grizzlies vs Thunder, Wizards vs Bulls)
We carry on with the incredible NBA playoffs, taking on three game 5’s, with one of them between the Washington Wizards and the Chicago Bulls potentially ending the series. Things are a lot more closer in the tied series between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers, with the situation exactly the same for the Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
-
San Antonio Spurs – Back on the Righteous Path
The Dallas Mavericks deserve plenty of credit from turning their series against the San Antonio Spurs into much more than your normal #1 vs #8 first round playoff encounter. The Spurs still came away with the 93-89 win, barely, thanks to a big game from Manu Ginobili and the idiotic decision made by DeJuan Blair to kick Tiago Splitter in the head, resulting in his ejection.
-
Atlanta Hawks – Far From a Surprise or an Upset
There have been too many ups and downs in this series to anoint the Atlanta Hawks as the team that knocked off a number one seed, but with their 107-97 win on the road against the Indiana Pacers they might have finally crushed what remains of the spirit that led their opponents all through this season, but about to fall way short of the goal they set for themselves.
-
Miami Heat – Easier Than Expected
Some things never change. The Miami Heat sweep their way through the first round series in the playoffs, beating the Charlotte Bobcats 109-98 to make it a clean 4-0, as LeBron James has another big game despite an injury scare early in the third quarter, sparking a much better game from him.
-
NBA Playoffs – Game 4 / 5 Predictions (Spurs vs Mavericks, Heat vs Bobcats, Hawks vs Pacers)
More of these wonderful NBA playoffs, with two game 4’s, as the Miami Heat try and complete a sweep against the Charlotte Bobcats while the San Antonio Spurs try and escape the predicament they’ve found themselves in against the Dallas Mavericks. The third series is a bit more advanced, as it’ll be game 5 for the Atlanta Hawks and the Indiana Pacers.

Houston Rockets – Jeremy Lin Punished, James Harden Doesn’t Change
The Houston Rockets find themselves on the verge of elimination after losing 123-120 to the Portland Trail Blazers in another overtime game between the two teams. Jeremy Lin made a huge blunder at the end of regulation, maybe blowing a win for his team, but James Harden continues to be immune when it comes to accountability for mistakes, resulting in another bad performance from him when it mattered the most.
