Records and Milestones in the 2011 NFL Season
The 2011 NFL season was the year of the quarterback, although kickers (Janikowski, Akers), return men (Sproles, Peterson, Cobb) and Tight Ends (Gronkowski) made an impact. Still, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Drew Brees, with Cam Newton dominating the rookie department, stood above everyone else during the regular season. The postseason was all Eli Manning.
