NBA Playoffs – Indiana Pacers Close to Perfect, Miami Heat Have to Improve
Things couldn’t have gone any better for the Indiana Pacers in game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, beating the Miami Heat 107-96 to take the 1-0 lead with Paul George, Roy Hibbert and David West leading the way, while the Miami Heat didn’t get anyone to show besides LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

Heat vs Pacers – Here we go Again
For the third straight year, the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat will play each other in the NBA playoffs. For the first time, the Pacers have home court advantage, hoping that their inconsistent ways of pulling through, exemplified better with Roy Hibbert than anyone else, will be enough, finally, to find an answer to a problem no team has been able to solve in series for more than two years: Stopping LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh from moving forward.

NBA Playoffs – Oklahoma City Thunder Beat Los Angeles Clippers, Indiana Pacers Finish Washington Wizards
The two more complicated series are over as well, as the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers took care of business on the road in game 6. The Thunder beat the Los Angeles Clippers 104-98 behind a huge night from Kevin Durant and some officiating help; the Pacers knocked off the Washington Wizards with a 93-80 victory, led by David West this time.

The deeper we got into the fourth quarter, the closer we seemed to be to the end of a season for the Indiana Pacers and a sensational upset by the Atlanta Hawks. But then the defense started working, and David West put on his superstar suit, leading us to a game 7 following a 95-88 win.

Yes, they found the formula of playing small: Luis Scola on the floor instead of Roy Hibbert, while Paul George and David West had big leadership and clutch moments. However, you couldn’t shake the feeling that the Atlanta Hawks, losing 91-88 as the series is now tied at 2-2, let this one slip away from them.

Pacers Over Thunder – Kevin Durant Can be Stopped
Contrary to popular belief, Kevin Durant isn’t that clutch, and he actually can be blocked. The Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the desperate Indiana Pacers who played an improved blend of bad offense and excellent defense, as Russell Westbrook showed once again how unintelligent he can be with some macho moves that make no difference, and the 102-97 win brings the Pacers closer to clinching that crucial top spot in the Eastern conference.

One rough over a bad Eastern conference team made the Indiana Pacers feel like their slump is over. Then came another bad offensive display while the Toronto Raptors got in their way and once again exposed the problems that are holding back the would-be NBA champions, beating them 102-94.

That promising lead at the top of the Eastern conference has withered away, and the bad basketball the Indiana Pacers have been playing for almost two months now continues to get worse, resulting in a 90-76 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, with David West losing his cool and Paul George simply not carrying the team as he’s expected to.
