NBA Playoffs – Atlanta Hawks Finally Playing Like Its the Regular Season
For the first time in this series, the Atlanta Hawks played like the team that dominated the East in the regular season. It just so happened to be in game 6 of their series with the Brooklyn Nets, winning 111-87 to claim a 4-2 victory, moving on to face the Washington Wizards.

NBA Playoffs – Oklahoma City Thunder Fall Short, San Antonio Spurs Finalists Again
For the first time in the Western Conference Finals, we got ourselves a close game, ending in another first – a road win. The San Antonio Spurs finished the job in six games with a 112-107 overtime win thanks to some great basketball from Tim Duncan in the clutch, Manu Ginobili hitting some big shots and Boris Diaw proving his value once more. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook gave it their best shot, but without a decent head coach, system or depth, there’s always going to be a ceiling on this team.

NBA Playoffs – Spurs vs Thunder Game 6 Predictions
It’s a whole new ball game as the saying goes. In a series that can be split into before and after the return of Serge Ibaka, we might be entering a new phase as the San Antonio Spurs take a one game lead to play on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder, feeling they have that defense figured out, which means Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook need to hope home court gives them enough of a boost in game 6.

NHL Playoffs – Los Angeles Kings Slip Up, Chicago Blackhawks Grab Momentum
The best game of the series, so far, turned out to be one that probably shifts all momentum in the other direction. The Chicago Blackhawks might have been down twice in this game 6, but managed to comeback and pull off a 4-3 win thanks to a dramatic Patrick Kane goal, tying the series at 3-3, coming from two games behind, hosting the Los Angeles Kings in the Western Conference Final finale to see who goes to play for the Stanley Cup.

NBA Playoffs – Miami Heat Reach Finals, Indiana Pacers Suffer Humiliation
In the Eastern Conference, things don’t change. The Miami Heat meet the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs and knock them out, like clockwork. This time it took six games in the Eastern Conference Finals, with the defending NBA champions, led by LeBron James and Chris Bosh in a 117-92 humiliation, taking the series 4-2, not being disturbed by the basketball troll that Lance Stephenson has turned into.

NBA Playoffs – Pacers vs Heat Game 6 Predictions
Heading into game 6, it’s still impossible to define this Indiana Pacers team and why they’ve been so inconsistent in these playoffs. The Miami Heat look to LeBron James, hoping that his foul trouble won’t be a part of this one, and that he’ll help the defending NBA champions clinch the conference finals, which they always do when they have an opportunity like that at home.

NHL Playoffs – New York Rangers Finish the Job, Montreal Canadiens Begin Vacation
In Game 6 of their series with the Montreal Canadiens, the New York Rangers put on their best and most dominant performance. The problem? The puck simply wouldn’t go in, but eventually Dustin Tokarski was beaten with a late second period goal from Dominic Moore, sending his team to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in 20 years, taking the series 4-2 with a 1-0 win.

NBA Playoffs – Oklahoma City Thunder Beat Los Angeles Clippers, Indiana Pacers Finish Washington Wizards
The two more complicated series are over as well, as the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers took care of business on the road in game 6. The Thunder beat the Los Angeles Clippers 104-98 behind a huge night from Kevin Durant and some officiating help; the Pacers knocked off the Washington Wizards with a 93-80 victory, led by David West this time.
-
NBA Playoffs – Game 6 Predictions (Thunder vs Clippers, Pacers vs Wizards)
Two series down, two more to go. The Oklahoma City Thunder can make the Western conference finals if they close out the series against the Los Angeles Clippers in game 6, and the same goes for the Indiana Pacers in their series with the Washington Wizards, although the momentum situation is completely different in that one.

NBA Playoffs – Game 6 Predictions (Rockets vs Blazers, Spurs vs Mavericks, Raptors vs Nets)
The madness of the NBA playoffs and the first round continue with another round of game 6, as the Houston Rockets try and stay alive at the Portland Trail Blazers, while the Dallas Mavericks hosting the San Antonio Spurs and the Brooklyn Nets doing the same to the Toronto Raptors have home court as support in their backs against the wall effort.
