Possible Scenarios For the National Championship Game
Heading into championship week which will determine what the BCS national title game will look like, it seems we’re down to five choices to fill two spots: Florida State as the clear favorite, Ohio State who’ll probably get in if all goes well, Auburn or Missouri representing the SEC and even Alabama, waiting for a turn of events that suits them just fine.

SEC – Texas A&M & Missouri Teaching Us It’s an Overrated Conference
It was hard to argue with the continuous brainwashing about the SEC being the best conference in College Football as they claimed six consecutive national championships, but the immediate success of Texas A&M and Missour over the last couple of years after coming over from the Big 12 as part of the huge conference realignment wave teaches us that it might not be as strong as some may think.

BCS National Championship Game – Ohio State Deserve it More Than Auburn or Missouri
Even if the BCS isn’t a fair system, you at least expect it to be consistent. However, the mayhem of rivalry week suddenly means that Ohio State, who have gone 12-0 for a second consecutive season might be hurt by the prejudice against the Big Ten and the infatuation with the SEC, which will allow Missouri or Auburn, the surprising division champions in the conference, a ticket to the BCS national championship game, probably against Florida State.

Missouri Tigers – Biggest Surprise of The SEC
While the rise of Auburn in the SEC West is quite stunning, it’s even more surprising to see Missouri coming out with only one loss from the SEC East, a year after joining the conference and looking like a team that’s going to need a lot more time before they adjust to realignment. Their 28-21 win over Texas A&M puts them in the conference championship game, something no one would have imagined when this season began.

SEC – Florida vs Missouri Predictions
Despite being out of the race pretty much in the SEC East, Florida still have one of the best defenses in the nation, against a Missouri team that’s still undefeated, one of the most surprising in College Football not to mention a top 10 offense so far this year.

Expectations of each football program is different, but it’s safe to assume that Lane Kiffin, Mack Brown,Paul Johnson, Steve Sarkisian, Gary Pinkel and Paul Pasqualoni will be the first head coaches to get fired after the 2013 College Football seasons if they don’t meet the early season expectations.

2012 College Football Season Week 2 – When the Upsets Begin
After a rather mild opening week regarding the AP Poll rankings, week of the 2012 College Football season is going to be harsh, with four teams in the top 25 losing their first game of the season – Arkansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Oklahoma State, while Missouri and Texas A&M lost in their SEC debuts.

2012 College Football – New Faces of the Big 12 and the SEC
Summer is here, which means that College Football is just around the corner. A continuing twist that seems to be increased in the 2012 season will be the arrival of new teams to their new conferences, with West Virginia leaving the Big East for the Big 12 and the new SEC arrivals – Texas A&M and Missouri looking to make the biggest splash.

What’s More Important – Winning the Conference Tournament or Regular Season Title?
Missouri won the Big 12 tournament for the eighth and final time before shipping off to the SEC, beating Baylor. Should it put them ahead of Kansas in the seeding for the NCAA Tournament? Kansas are #3 on the AP poll, Mizzou #5. I don’t know if winning the tournament gives you the go ahead over the regular season champion. I think it shouldn’t, but I’m also not sure it matters.
