Another heavyweight title fight, another comfortable win for Wladimir Klitschko. This time? 40-Year old Tony Thompson, who hardly produced anything of note on his second tumble in the ring with the younger Klitschko brother, winning with a sixth round knockout, retaining the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO & Ring Heavyweight title belts.

Aftermath of the Pacquiao – Bradley Fight
Manny Pacquiao landed more punches and more power shots than Timothy Bradley. According to anyone who was watching and scoring the fight, Pacquiao had won something between 8 to 10 of the rounds. It was that one sided. But the judges saw a completely different fight, and somehow, someway, decided to give the sport another terrible decision – Bradley wins, Split Decision.

Aftermath of the Hopkins – Dawson Title Fight
Chad Dawson knew the 12 rounds against Bernard Hopkins were going to be tough and dirty. That’s how Hopkins fights. That’s how Hopkins has remained a Light Heavyweight champion at the age of 47. Dawson did look the bloodier of the two due to a nasty cut above his eye, but there was no doubt about the winner, the better boxer and the new WBC Light Heavyweight champion.

Aftermath of the Garcia – Morales Title Fight
Erik Morales wasn’t even fighting for a title. Weighing two pounds above the allowed 140, the WBC Light Welterweight title was only for Danny Garcia to win. The 24 year old, winning his 23 fight (0 losses) since beginning his boxing career in 2007, just had more in the tank to withstand the aging legend, who must be contemplatin retirmenetn once again.

Aftermath of the Ward – Froch Title Fight
Andre Ward may not have the power the masses and PPV crowds want from a pound-4-pound king, but he’s got everything else. The American became a unified Super Middleweight champion after a unanimous decision win over Carl Froch, remaining undefeated and winning Showtime’s Super Six Boxing Classic tournament. Lucian Bute is next?

Aftermath of the Khan – Peterson Title Fight
Amir Khan was the better fighter in the ring against Lamont Peterson, but it wasn’t enough. Peterson won by a more than controversial split decision, becoming the WBA and IBF Light Welterweight champion and seemingly agreeing to a rematch between the two.
