Jeremy Lin Criminally Misused, Steve Clifford Looks Lost, Charlotte Hornets in Trouble
It’s hard to think of one word that descibes how bad the Charlotte Hornets looked in game of their first round NBA Playoffs series, losing 123-91 to the Miami Heat. Steve Clifford looked clueless, Kemba Walker showed how useless a scoring point guard can be, everyone forgot how to pass the ball and Jeremy Lin was underused, misused and generally put in a position which denied him and the team any chance of succeeding.

Jeremy Lin Starts & Sizzles, Al Jefferson Getting Better, Charlotte Hornets Stay Put
The Charlotte Hornets beat the Orlando Magic 117-103 to close out a fantastic regular season by their standards, starting Jeremy Lin instead of the injured Nicolas Batum and getting another fine performance from Al Jefferson off the bench, although all of that didn’t help them move up the Eastern Conference Standings, if they were even looking to do that.

Jeremy Lin Starting Finale, Charlotte Hornets Need to Aim Higher Through Him
The last time Jeremy Lin started for the Charlotte Hornets he played extremely well, and obviously got benched for the next one. This time, the opposite thing is happening. He played one heck of a game in Boston, and now gets to start in the regular season finale against the Orlando Magic, “thanks” to Nicolas Batum being injured, or simply resting.

Jeremy Lin Gets Toyed With, Kemba Walker Bounces Back, Charlotte Hornets Move On
The Charlotte Hornets had no problem capping off their road series with a 111-97 win over the New York Knicks that included big nights for Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson, a very big starting lineup and Jeremy Lin thrown back to the bench, which not for the first time comes after a good game for him and shakes up his confidence.

Jeremy Lin Waiting for More, Kemba Walker Needs Some Restraint, Charlotte Hornets Begin Gauntlet
The season finish for the Charlotte Hornets, who might or might not end up with not just a playoff place but possible home court advantage, is anything but easy, with a series of away games that begins with the Cleveland Cavaliers, takes them through the Toronto Raptors and later down the line includes the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards. In the East, that’s difficult.
-
Jeremy Lin Misses Game, Kemba Walker Misses Shots, Charlotte Hornets Simply Cruising
The Charlotte Hornets didn’t have any problem with the Philadelphia 76ers, beating them 100-85 with a Nicolas Batum triple double, a Kemba Walker horror show of shooting and no Jeremy Lin, with surprise back problems before the game.

Jeremy Lin More Than a Role Player as Charlotte Hornets Hoping for Home Court in Playoffs
As we carry on tracking the highs & lows of Jeremy Lin this season with the Charlotte Hornets, the team moves on with its attempt to maybe capture the number 3 or 4 seed in the Eastern conference playoffs which means home court advantage in the first round series, while Lin himself hopes to be a bigger part of this run than Steve Clifford allows him to be sometimes.
-
Jeremy Lin With Defensive Masterclass, Nicolas Batum Fantastic, Charlotte Hornets Bounce Back
The Charlotte Hornets didn’t let their loss a night before get to them, having no problem beat up on the Milwaukee Bucks 115-91 in a very good shooting night from Nicolas Batum, Kemba Walker and Marvin Williams, while Jeremy Lin did well offensively, but was at his poaching best on defense.

Jeremy Lin Inconsistency Hurting the Charlotte Hornets, Proving Steve Clifford Right
The Charlotte Hornets keep on with their late March inconsistencies by losing 112-105 to the Detroit Pistons in a game that wasn’t that close for the most part. Kemba Walker was hot early before melting away like the rest of the team while Jeremy Lin was disappointing after two excellent performances, back to his shooting woes and generally having one of those nights with everything going wrong for him.
