2014-2015 Premier League Season Predictions: Chelsea, Manchester City or Someone Else
The 2014-2015 Premier League season is about to begin, and at the moment, it seems like one team from last year’s title challenge is dropping out of the wuthering heights (Liverpool) at the expense of a familiar contender (Manchester United), while Chelsea and Manchester City, just like a year ago, seem like early favorites to finish on top. Arsenal? We still can’t take them completely seriously.

Match Highlights – Dortmund vs Bayern Munich
Some things don’t change. Bayern Munich looked bad against Borussia Dortmund, just like they in every encounter between the teams last season. Goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave the team hosting the German Super Cup a 2-0 win, although it doesn’t say anything about the upcoming Bundesliga season.

Match Highlights – Manchester United vs Valencia
Some things to be happy about, others that cause concern, as Manchester United beat Valencia 2-1 in another preseason preparation match, with Darren Fletcher and Marouane Fellaini scoring for the home side, while Rodrigo Moreno made the most of some poor defending by the Red Devils to make it interesting for a short while.

Friendly matches mean nothing, but obviously Liverpool have more than just one thing to be pleased and confident about. More than anything and anyone, next season will probably be about Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge carrying this team, hoping that the end result will be just as good as in the previous one.

Arsenal FC – Aaron Ramsey Will Determine How Far They Go
Even with a fully healthy Aaron Ramsey, it’s doubtful Arsenal would have stayed much longer in the title race. And yet this season once again begins with gushing hope, which relies on the injury-free status of the 23-year old Welshman, elevating himself to the status of the team’s most important player.

Match Highlights – Arsenal vs Manchester City
The Community Shield isn’t much more than an upgraded preseason friendly, but it certainly tastes like the beginning of the season, which should be very encouraging for Arsenal, picking up a trophy through an impressive 3-0 win over Manchester City. Santi Cazorla, the fantastic Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud scored the goals.
