It’s going to be very difficult for the Golden State Warriors to get Dwight Howard, either through free agency or through a sign & trade deal with the Los Angeles Lakers (becoming more and more likely), but if they manage to somehow get rid of the expiring contracts of Andrew Bogut, Andris Biedrins and Richard Jefferson, they will have enough cap space to add Howard without a need for a trade.

So many heroes in a huge playoff win for the Golden State Warriors, you don’t know where to begin. Stephen Curry is the obvious choice, playing on his problematic ankle and having a huge second half. Andrew Bogut, making life a living hell for Tim Duncan when it mattered the most. Jarrett Jack who simply has no fear coming off the bench. And Harrison Barnes, who probably tried a little bit too much, but enjoyed one of his biggest games in his short NBA career.

Maybe instead of becoming one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, we’ll remember Stephen Curry as a player that couldn’t beat the injuries that plagued him and specifically his ankle. But for now, in 2013, he’s strong enough to beat and overcome these hurdles to put the Golden State Warriors in a position no one thought they’d be this deep into the season.
