NFL Playoffs – Quarterback Battles
As always the people taking up most the focus in the upcoming Conference Championship games in the NFL playoffs will be the quarterbacks, and specifically their individual duels.

Atlanta Falcons – Matt Ryan is Finally a Playoffs Winner
It almost didn’t happen, and Matt Ryan would have gone on on to explain how the Atlanta managed to blow a win that was deep within their pocket. This isn’t the first time this season the NFC’s best team came away with an improbable win, and it seems the trends carries on into the postseason.

Atlanta Falcons – Matt Ryan Making a Case for MVP
It’s hard to put a finger on what made the Atlanta Falcons so successful this season, because there isn’t one definitive answer. There never is in the NFL. But where’s the first place to look? Matt Ryan, who is having an MVP-type season, just without the hype that usually follows the best quarterbacks in the game.

Philadelphia Eagles – The Defense Quarterbacks Love to Play Against
The Philadelphia Eagles under Juan Castillo as the defensive coordinator, through the first six games of the season? The record was 3-3, with the defense allowing 20.8 points per game. Andy Reid fires Castillo and Todd Bowles takes over. How bad is it? Five straight defeats, allowing 31.4 points per game.

Atlanta Falcons – Defense Destroys Drew Brees
There was nothing really special about the Atlanta Falcons and their offense in a huge win that takes them to 11-1 this season, very close to clinching the NFC South. No More Undefeated Teams in the 2012 NFL Season

Atlanta Falcons – Michael Turner Keeps Them Undefeated
The only real headlines Michael Turner has gotten this season was after being arrested for a DUI. In their Sunday Night Football win over the Dallas Cowboys (19-13), Turner probably had his second noteworthy moment of the season, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown, keeping the Atlanta Falcons as the only undefeated team in the NFL.

Atlanta Falcons – Week 8 and Still Undefeated
Each week brings something different to lead the Atlanta Falcons to victory. This time, it was an offense led by Matt Ryan that simply could do no wrong against a helpless Philadelphia Eagles defense, as the Falcons scored on their first six possessions before punting for the first time with 5:35 left, on their way to a 30-17.
-
Atlanta Falcons – Matt Ryan Can Win Without Michael Turner
Some teams need their quarterback to do well, others are based on their running game. Last season, the Falcons needed Michael Turner to dominate to pull of wins, eventually stopped, once again, in the first game of the postseason. Monday night against the Broncos, it was a combination of Matt Ryan efficiency and defensive interceptions that paved the way to a 2-0 start to the season.

Everything Clicking For New York Giants at Perfect Time
Eli Manning can’t get touched, the New York Giants can’t lose. Winning their third straight win-or-you’re-out home game, the Giants completely dominated the playoff-troubled Atlanta Falcons, keeping their offense well at bay, advancing to a Packers showdown after a 24-2 win.
