  • Neymar – How Much is he Worth Now?

Nothing has really changed during the Olympic games. Neymar was an excellent player before them and regardless of whether Brazil win the Olympic gold by beating Mexico in the final or finish with silver, the young striker is the biggest name in Brazilian football at the moment and its most sought after talent.

  • Transfer Rumors 2012 – Neymar Will Stay With Santos

Despite the obvious interest from pretty much every big club in Europe and especially and most recently Barcelona, with their vice president talking about the likelihood of Barca making a move towards Neymar, the Brazilian star, according to Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro, isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

  • Transfer Rumors 2012 – Arsenal Interested in Ganso

While Arsenal seem to be mostly busy with keeping Robin van Persie or at least getting the most out of his approaching departure, Arsene Wenger is also thinking signings. Santos’ unsettled midfielder, Paulo Henrique Ganso, is probably the biggest name currently on the gunners’ to-do list.

  • Transfer Rumors 2012 – Neymar to Barcelona

This is what’s going to happen now – Neymar will be linked with Barcelona, a few days later with Real Madrid before PSG step in with one crazy offer. That’s summer, this is what transfer rumors are about. Taking the biggest name out of a pool of likely targets to big clubs and start pushing him to the biggest and/or richest clubs in Europe.

  • Transfer Rumors 2012 – Ganso Not Going to Manchester United

It’s been pretty widespread knowledge that Ganso isn’t happy with the terms offered to him by his club, Santos, making him look for a new team, in Brazil more likely than in Europe, with both Manchester United and AC Milan chasing the 22 year old Brazilian.

  • Transfer Rumors 2012 – Santos’ Ganso Wants Out; Neymar Too?

A Euro kind of summer always takes the attention away from South American players and especially leagues come the transfer time, but that doesn’t last long. Paulo Henrique Ganso, one of the crown jewels of Brazil’s new generation (along with teammate Neymar, THE crown jewel), seems to be the first big name looking to leave Santos and make his way to Europe.

  • Neymar Hit With Object Thrown By Bolivar Fans

Neymar may be the hope of Brazilian soccer, but he didn’t receive a very warm welcome from FC Bolivar fans as Santos played in La Paz against the Bolivian champions in the first leg of the last 16 in the Copa Libertadores. Neymar failed to score and was rattled by the home fans who kept throwing objects from the stands at him, eventually hitting him.

  • Pele Keeps Talking Nonsense About Neymar and Messi

Lionel Messi has only one player who can contend with him for the title ‘The best footballer in the world.’ That’s Cristiano Ronaldo. Whether you’re on the Argentina/Barcelona or Portugal/Real Madrid side of the argument, I think anyone would agree that Pele claiming Neymar is actually better than Messi is absolute rubbish.

  • Neymar in the Footsteps of Legends – Time We See Him in Europe

Neymar himself wasn’t really certain of how great his goals were. On a night Lionel Messi set a new record and new standard for 90 minutes of perfection, scoring 5 goals against Leverkusen, Neymar settled for a hat-trick, including two brilliant, almost identical goals. It’s time we start seeing him in Europe, if he’s truly that great.

  • Neymar Will Never be Ronaldo

The photo of Neymar and Ronaldo together might be giving many people another reason to push the whole Neymar bound for greatness issue, but besides seeing an overweight legend (due to a certain condition) next to a wonder-kid who will never be as great as Ronaldo, I fail to see the excitement and hype between the lines.
