Houston Rockets – Jeremy Lin Showing to James Harden What Basketball is About
It’s hard to find a single thing to complain about in such a blowout win for the Houston Rockets. James Harden didn’t have to do too much while Terrence Jones stood out above the rest in a fantastic game, while the best minutes came when Jeremy Lin was on the court.

Oklahoma City Thunder – Kevin Durant & Russell Westbrook Too Difficult to Stop
The Chicago Bulls might have one of the best defenses in the NBA, which means making life as bit difficult for the Oklahoma City Thunder, but not hard enough as Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had another excellent game en route to a 97-85 win.

Brooklyn Nets – A Completely Different Team at Home
When your point guard has his best game of the season, it usually bodes well for the rest of the team. Deron Williams shined, and so did the rest of the Brooklyn Nets with another impressive home win and defensive performance, this time over the Phoenix Suns 108-95.

Los Angeles Clippers – Blake Griffin Has a Very Happy Birthday
Two birds with one stone, not that the playoff aspirations of the Cleveland Cavaliers mean anything to the Los Angeles Clippers. Still, from a sport’s fan view, it’s always nice to spoil things and see others suffer, while Blake Griffin has himself a very happy birthday performance, showing once again just how much of an all-around player he has become.

San Antonio Spurs – Consistency at the Highest Level
Another season, another 50 wins for the San Antonio Spurs, reaching that mark for the 15th consecutive time. They beat the Utah Jazz 122-104, lead by Tony parker, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, while not really making anyone work too hard for the win.

The game between the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trail Blazers was always going to be an enjoyable, high scoring affair, and didn’t disappoint. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson caught fire at the right time, while Nicolas Batum was the opposite of clutch, missing a crucila free throw that could have sent the game into overtime.

Houston Rockets – Jeremy Lin Has Bad Days, James Harden Doesn’t Change
Sometimes there’s no grand conspiracy holding Jeremy Lin back. Yes, he is still used in the wrong way, but his performance for the Houston Rockets against the Miami Heat was disappointing on both ends of the floor, while James Harden showed everything good and bad about himself as a player.
-
Oklahoma City Thunder – Home Court Humiliation
The Oklahoma City Thunder do have the excuse of missing three starting players, including a resting Russell Westbrook, but it’s still hard to fathom just how bad they looked in a 109-86 loss at home to the Dallas Mavericks, pulling them even further away from the top spot in the Western conference.
-
Miami Heat – Renewed Signs of Greatness
At the moment, the Miami Heat don’t look like a team good enough to win the NBA championship. However, their 113-104 win over the Houston Rockets brings back some sort of confidence not just in them as a group, but in Ray Allen as a capabale sidekick of the Big Three, outscoring the trio of LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.

Indiana Pacers – It’s Good to be Lonely at the Top
The slump might be over, and it’s time for the Indiana Pacers to make one final push and seal the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Despite being down by 25 points against the Detroit Pistons, with other goals in mind, big nights from Paul George and Evan Turner completed the second biggest comeback we’ve seen in the NBA this season.
