NBA Playoffs – Game 5 Predictions (Nets vs Heat, Blazers vs Spurs)
Heading into game 5 of both series, we already know what teams are superior in quality. The question is can there something to negate that advantage? The Brooklyn Nets aren’t very high on confidence as they travel to play the Miami Heat, hoping to avoid elimination, while the San Antonio Spurs might be facing a little bit stronger competition from the Portland Trail Blazers than what we’ve seen so far.

Thunder Over Clippers – Referees & Chris Paul Decide the Game
As impressive as it was to watch the Oklahoma City Thunder comeback from a definite loss in the final minutes of game 5, that ending was an equal embarrassment to the NBA’s referees and to the pressure handling skills of Chris Paul, completely falling apart when it mattered the most. The Thunder won 105-104 thanks to Russell Westbrook hitting 3 free throws he shouldn’t have gotten, taking a 3-2 lead in the series.

Wizards Over Pacers – That Was Embarrassing
Back and forth we go in the weird playoffs the Indiana Pacers are having. Losing at home by 23 points (102-79) to the Washington Wizards seems to be something of a low point. Marcin Gortat destroyed anyone, including Roy Hibbert, standing in his path, helping his team staying alive with a game 5 win to make it a 2-3 series, taking it back to D.C.

In one series, game 5 might mean the end of the road for one team: The Indiana Pacers host the Washington Wizards while holding a 3-1 lead in the conference semifinals over the visitors. The other series has been too close to call, as the Los Angeles Clippers travel to play the Oklahoma City Thunder with the series tied at 2-2.

More NBA playoffs, with game 5’s, as one series could be over by the end of it as the Portland Trail Blazers try to finish off the Houston Rockets, while things are a bit more even in the tied series between the visiting Dallas Mavericks and the hosting San Antonio Spurs, while things are similar North of there as the Toronto Raptors try and get their first lead over the Brooklyn Nets.

LeBron James tied for his lowest scoring game of the 2012 NBA Finals series, it might have been his best, closing out the series with a triple doube. Like a Boss, some would say, if these was a Lonely Island video. There was no argument that Russell Westbrook had his worst game of the series, and subsequently his team.

Celtics Over Heat – Kevin Garnett, Superstar
He wasn’t supposed to be this good this year, but Kevin Garnett, at 36, is still playing like the best big men in the NBA. He led the Boston Celtics with 26 points and 13 rebounds as they turned the series upside down, won 94-90 in Miami and now have a 3-2 lead over the Heat, with a potential series clincher at home on Thursday.

How the Thunder Are Winning the West – James Harden and Stopping the Pick n Roll
Kevin Durant may have led the scoring for the Oklahoma City Thunder with 27 points; Manu Ginobili scored a game best 34 points. But it was James Harden who deserved the night’s MVP, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 108-103 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
