2015 College Football Season – Week 2 Rankings
The top 3 remains unchanged following week 2 as Ohio State, Alabama and TCU cruise against weak teams. Michigan State make a small but meaningful jump after beating Oregon, who along with Auburn took the big plummets of the week, as the Tigers struggling against an FCS team costs them 12 spots. BYU, Oklahoma State and Northwestern make their first appearances in the top 25 this season, filling in for three SEC teams that dropped out: Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi State.

College Football – Rankings Starting to Change From Upsets and Close Calls
Teams like Ohio State, Alabama, TCU and Baylor are in the clear for now. Michigan State got rid of Oregon in what should lead to some major rankings change, Auburn almost lost to an FCS team which says something about their bid and hope of winning the SEC and making the College Football Playoffs while others, like USC, LSU and maybe Georgia, Florida State and Clemson are hoping they find themselves in the discussion at some point.

2015 College Football Season – Week 1 Rankings
Not a lot of changes in the first top 25 of the season, as Ohio State remain the #1 team compared to preseason following a win over Virginia Tech, while the SEC puts a record 10 teams in the rankings, including Alabama, Auburn and Georgia in the top 10. Arizona State, Stanford and Wisconsin dropped from the rankings following losses, allowing Texas A&M, Utah and Mississippi State to climb in.

College Football – Upsets Won’t Shake Up Rankings Too Much
The first weekend of the 2015 College Football season won’t give us a major shakeup to the preseason rankings, as the losses by Stanford, Arizona State and Wisconsin are all by teams outside the top 14, while favorites to contend for a playoff spot like TCU, Alabama, Baylor and Michigan State didn’t run in to any problems.
-
College Football – Preseason Rankings
Preseason rankings don’t mean anything and yet they interest us so much heading into the 2015 season, with Ohio State, the national champions, getting all the first place votes while the top 5 is rounded off with TCU, Alabama, Baylor and Michigan State.

College Football – Preseason Coaches Rankings
The first coaches poll of the season, the preseason one, means that the 2015 College Football season is just around the corner, with national champions Ohio State looking like the on-paper favorites at the moment, although TCU & Alabama also get mentioned.

2014 College Football Season – Final Rankings
We don’t need polls anymore to tell us who the national champions are; Ohio State won the College Football Playoff and that’s it. But the top 25 to close the 2014 season does tell us that behind the two finalists (Buckeyes and Oregon), TCU “jumped” the losers of the semifinal (Alabama and Florida State) while Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Georgia and UCLA enjoyed great bowl games, propelling them into the top 10.

College Football Playoff – Final Committee Rankings
The final rankings posted by the College Football Playoff committee put Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State (ranked by that order) in the playoff and a chance to win the national championship, with the Rose Bowl hosting the semifinal between the Ducks and the Seminoles, while the Sugar Bowl will be the venue for the meeting between the Crimson Tide and the Buckeyes.

College Football Playoff – Week 14 Committee Rankings
Despite being the only undefeated team in the nation, Florida State keep falling in committee rankings for the College Football Playoff, while TCU move up to number 3, sitting right behind Alabama (number one) and Oregon (number two), while Ohio State and Baylor are waiting for an opening.

2014 College Football Season – Week 14 BCS Standings
According to the hypothetical BCS rankings following Week 14 in College Football, the playoff will be made up of number one Alabama, followed by Florida State, Oregon and TCU. No two-SEC teams, that’s not going to happen, and maybe even more interesting to see is Ohio State falling behind the top 4. Playing in a championship game and winning the Big Ten might change that.
