  • NBA Franchises All Time Leading Scorers

Besides Havlicek and Bryant, we thought it would be a good opportunity to refresh memories around the NBA fandom about who leads each franchise’s scoring list, and do any of them have a chance of getting dethroned anytime soon.

  • Kobe Bryant – Beating Shaquille O’Neal and Reaching Michael Jordan

Bryant should reach 30,000 next season. Assuming he doesn’t sustain any long term injuries, and there’s no head coach or anyone in the locker room to tell him to stop shooting, who knows where he’ll stop? Getting that sixth ring, just like Michael Jordan, doesn’t seem likely, but passing him on the all time scoring list, despite more games and seasons, should make Bryant a happier man when he finally retires and his huge ego can move on to other endeavors.

  • Top Ten NBA Scorers of All Time

With the 2008-2009 NBA Season over, it’s a good time to open the history books and see who are the current top ten all time scorers in the NBA and are there any active players among them or threatening their place in history.

  • Bryant Stops Scoring and Lakers Keep Winning

Kobe Bryant couldn’t help himself but continue and throw over 20 shots, limiting himself to “only” 22 field goal attempts and 14 points, making only 7 of his shots. For once this season, he gave up on the tough last shot, finding Derek Fisher who hit the winning three pointer win 3 second to go, beating the Dallas Mavericks 73-70.

  • Paul Makes Clippers Better Team Than Lakers Despite Bryant

Kobe Bryant is pretty much unstoppable right now, and so were the Lakers over the last 10 days, until they met the Los Angeles Clippers. Bryant may be scoring over 40 points a game this past week, but the Clippers, with an one fire Chris Paul (33 points) are simply the best team in LA right now, winning 102-94.

  • Kobe Bryant Hogs His Way to Another Lakers Win

Kobe Bryant isn’t slowing down despite his injured right hand, scoring 39 points to lead the just above average Los Angeles Lakers in their 97-90 win over the Golden State Warriros, his third straight 30 point game in four nights, while the Lakers go 2-1 in these games.

  • Lakers Will Benefit From Limiting Bryant

Kobe Bryant doesn’t like players from his own team stealing his thunder, so he continued to shoot an incredible number of shots, this time actually hitting about half of them, finishing with 37 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers (4-3) to a 108-99 win over the Houston Rockets (2-3).

  • Andrew Bynum Means That Much to the Lakers

Andrew Bynum came back from suspension like a new man, leading the Los Angeles Lakers (3-2) to a 92-89 win over the Denver Nuggets (2-2) with an impressive 29 points, 13 rebounds night, as Kobe Bryant was struggling with an injured wrist.

  • Kobe Bryant Can Still Win Some Games On His Own

Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers played their best game of the season, beating the limited New York Knicks 99-82 to make it 2-2 so far this season. Bryant had little help in the scoring department, and he won’t, probably, all season long.

  • Rose and Bulls Too Much For Bryant to Handle Alone

Derrick Rose did what Kobe Bryant usually does, and couldn’t on Christmas day. The 2011 MVP scored the winning jumper as the Chicago Bulls grabbed an opening day 88-87 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, who are headed for a long and frustrating season.
