Chicago Bulls – Fighting the Wrong Battle
I still haven’t understood if the Chicago Bulls are out to prove they’re the tougher team or actually win the series. It’s as if they were so surprised by their game 1 win in Miami, that they forgot to win three more in order to knock out the Heat and the “soft” LeBron James from the playoffs.

NBA Playoffs – Heat vs Bulls Game 3 Predictions
The Chicago Bulls haven’t lost Joakim Noah or Taj Gibson for their actions in Game 2, but it still doesn’t mean they’re in good shape. The Miami Heat haven’t enjoyed a lot of success in the windy city in recent years, but their demolition in the previous game without having to get the best out of LeBron James or Dwyane Wade has them feeling quite confident heading into the away leg of the series.

Chicago Bulls – Joakim Noah & Taj Gibson Might Cost Them the Series
Sometimes, teams fall apart, and they can’t avoid a huge loss. The Chicago Bulls, already shorthanded due to old and more recent injuries, might have to do without two more players, at least for the next game. Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah let the humiliation of being in the franchise’s biggest playoff loss ever get to them, not to mention some of the calls by the referees, getting themselves ejected, which might be costly in the long run.

Miami Heat Deal Chicago Bulls Their Worst Playoff Loss in History
It was clear the Miami Heat would be fired up in Game 2, but no one knew that the Chicago Bulls would stop playing near the end of the second quarter, losing in an embarrassing fashion (115-78), their worst defeat in postseason history, heading back to Chicago in a 1-1 tied series, as LeBron James didn’t even need to score in the second half.

NBA Playoffs – Bulls vs Heat Game 2 Predictions
While there is a chance that the Chicago Bulls might have found the recipe to do what seemed impossible until a few days ago – beat the current Miami Heat team in a seven game series, there’s also the option of them awaking a slumbering dragon that didn’t win so many games during the second half of the season on sheer luck alone, and has responded quite well to being behind in a series over the last couple of seasons.

Jimmy Butler is Superhuman, Even Compared to LeBron James
There are quite a few heroes the Chicago Bulls can be proud of after shocking the NBA-viewing public and winning Game 1 against the Miami Heat – Joakim Noah by doing a little bit of everything, Nate Robinson for being once again huge in the fourth quarter despite the utter lack of faith in him from people outside the team. But it’s Jimmy Butler, for not getting a second of rest, and his incredible defense on LeBron James, that deserves more praise than anyone else.

Chicago Bulls Winning Game 1 Wasn’t Something Anyone Expected
Rust, fatigue or too much rest. Those are the usual excuses when a better team, the Miami Heat, coming off a first round sweep, falls at home against the Chicago Bulls, missing too many players to be taken too seriously, but comes away with a shocking win to open their conference semifinals series, thanks to nothing short of a heroic performance from Jimmy Butler, Joakim Noah, Nate Robinson and Marco Belinelli.

NBA Playoffs – Heat vs Bulls Semifinals Series Predictions
Is there a chance for the Chicago Bulls, with so many injured players and coming off an exhausting first round series to pull off the upset? The fact that the Miami Heat struggled against them through the regular season might prove to be the only thing that keeps them going, but eventually, it’s going to be very hard even imagining them making it through a best-of-seven series against LeBron James and a very well rested bunch of NBA champions.

Nets – Bulls Series: Without Kirk Hinrich, There’s No Chance
Kirk Hinrich might not be as explosive as Nate Robinson, but he’s a much better defender when it comes to limiting Deron Williams, and has a notion or two on how to run an offense instead of simply improvising and hoping for the best. The Brooklyn Nets have now won in Chicago, forcing the Bulls to travel back to New York and play in a game 7, hoping that Hinrich will be healthy by that time.

The NBA Has Been Without Derrick Rose For Exactly One Year
It’s been one year exactly without basketball for Derrick Rose, or at least NBA basketball. The Chicago Bulls? They’ve been surviving without him, and they’ll have to continue and do that according to all the rumors and reports, at least until the 2013 playoffs are over.
