Still, from a sport’s fan view, it’s always nice to spoil things and see others suffer, while Blake Griffin has himself a very happy birthday performance, showing once again just how much of an all-around player he has become.

When this season began, the Golden State Warriors were a team some looked at and saw potential NBA champions if everything came together. There have been ups & downs this season, but another home loss, this time to the Cleveland Cavaliers, probably shut the book on anyone having illussions that this Stephen Curry led group has any chance of doing better than last year.

We mentioned another misleading streak beginning yesterday. It seems it’s not over yet, as the New York Knicks came away with a 107-97 win over a direct rival for the final postseason spot, the Cleveland Cavaliers, after another impressive scoring performance by Carmelo Anthony and generally the offense-oriented lineup doing its job.

A rare occurrence: Gregg Popovich with nothing to complain about after the game. The San Antonio Spurs put a passing and movement clinic against the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning 122-101 with Danny Green of all people leading the way, looking as good as he did in the NBA finals.

NBA Rumors – Cleveland Cavaliers & Brooklyn Nets Interested in Jason Terry & Jarrett Jack Trade

The 119-108 win for the Los Angeles Lakers over the Cleveland Cavaliers might teach us that there are teams in worse situations despite not having the same amount of injuries, but the healthy list is getting shorter and shorter for a team that went into the game with only 8 healthy players and finished with only 4 being eligible as Robert Sacre played after fouling out.
