There’s no way the San Antonio Spurs can hold Zach Randolph to only two points once again. It’s also hard to imagine the Memphis Grizzlies allowing Tony Parker to run wild and go down after the first quarter behind by 17 points, and losing by 22 points. Things don’t work that way in the playoffs, and two days is a whole lot of time between the opener and game 2.

Despite playing against a hurt Oklahoma City Thunder, the Memphis Grizzlies didn’t have it easy, or at least harder than the 4-1 end result suggests. The San Antonio Spurs had a harder time against the Golden State Warriors, needing six games to make it through, but finally figuring out how to stop the three point shooting, while developing an alternative to their big three.

The Chicago Bulls haven’t lost Joakim Noah or Taj Gibson for their actions in Game 2, but it still doesn’t mean they’re in good shape. The Miami Heat haven’t enjoyed a lot of success in the windy city in recent years, but their demolition in the previous game without having to get the best out of LeBron James or Dwyane Wade has them feeling quite confident heading into the away leg of the series.

History paints a much simpler picture – the Knicks get knocked out whenever they lose Game 1 at home.
