NBA Playoffs – Grizzlies vs Spurs Game 2 Predictions

There’s no way the San Antonio Spurs can hold Zach Randolph to only two points once again. It’s also hard to imagine the Memphis Grizzlies allowing Tony Parker to run wild and go down after the first quarter behind by 17 points, and losing by 22 points. Things don’t work that way in the playoffs, and two days is a whole lot of time between the opener and game 2.

NBA Playoffs – Spurs vs Grizzlies Finals Series Predictions

Despite playing against a hurt Oklahoma City Thunder, the Memphis Grizzlies didn’t have it easy, or at least harder than the 4-1 end result suggests. The San Antonio Spurs had a harder time against the Golden State Warriors, needing six games to make it through, but finally figuring out how to stop the three point shooting, while developing an alternative to their big three.

NBA Playoffs – Spurs vs Warriors Game 3 Predictions

The San Antonio Spurs are in trouble. They were outplayed by the Golden State Warriors in the opening two games, lucky to come out with a win in the first one, and are heading into their first road game of the series without a lot of rest given previously to some of their weary players, and still without an answer on how to stop the Warriors offense.

NBA Playoffs – Heat vs Bulls Game 3 Predictions

The Chicago Bulls haven’t lost Joakim Noah or Taj Gibson for their actions in Game 2, but it still doesn’t mean they’re in good shape. The Miami Heat haven’t enjoyed a lot of success in the windy city in recent years, but their demolition in the previous game without having to get the best out of LeBron James or Dwyane Wade has them feeling quite confident heading into the away leg of the series.

NBA Playoffs – Warriors vs Spurs Game 2 Predictions

The first game in the Western conference semifinals series between the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs provided us with two overtimes, an amazing performance from Stephen Curry and an even better finish from Manu Ginobili. Chances are we’re in for a letdown in terms of quality in game 2, but not by much.

NBA Playoffs – Bulls vs Heat Game 2 Predictions

While there is a chance that the Chicago Bulls might have found the recipe to do what seemed impossible until a few days ago – beat the current Miami Heat team in a seven game series, there’s also the option of them awaking a slumbering dragon that didn’t win so many games during the second half of the season on sheer luck alone, and has responded quite well to being behind in a series over the last couple of seasons.

  • NBA Playoffs – Grizzlies vs Thunder Game 2 Predictions

The Oklahoma City Thunder don’t have their starting point guard or any kind of offensive system, but they do have Kevin Durant playing his best basketball. The Memphis Grizzlies are quite methodical on both ends of the floor, but lack that superstar who can take the game on his shoulders in the final minutes. Will it cost them a second consecutive time?

  • NBA Playoffs – Pacers vs Knicks Game 2 Predictions

NBA Playoffs – Pacers vs Knicks Game 2 Predictions

The New York Knicks are in trouble, and not just because of their game 1 loss at home curse. They’re in trouble because the Indiana Pacers have found out how to make Carmelo Anthony look pretty bad for an entire game, through their own brand of stifling defense and going for the teeth offense, and they don’t have a backup plan to counter it.

  • New York Knicks – Why They Won’t Win Their Series With the Indiana Pacers

New York Knicks – Why They Won’t Win Their Series With the Indiana Pacers

The New York Knicks are doomed. Losing in Game 1, at home, to the Indiana Series means they have no chance to come back and claim the conference semifinal series. It doesn’t have anything to do with field goal percentage, Carmelo Anthony shooting, offensive rebounding or scoring in the paint. History paints a much simpler picture – the Knicks get knocked out whenever they lose Game 1 at home.

  • Miami Heat – Why They Won’t Win the 2013 NBA Title

Miami Heat – Why They Won’t Win the 2013 NBA Title

Best record in the NBA? The Miami have got it. Best player in the NBA? LeBron James is playing for the NBA champions, and seems to be getting better every year and each season. So why shouldn’t the current title holders repeat in 2013? Because they’re too good in the regular season, always a sign for bad things to come when we’re talking about the Heat.
