Texas Longhorns – David Ash Erases Past Mistakes
A slow start and the memory of getting pulled out of a game in the regular season didn’t stop David Ash from following through on the claims that Texas have a quarterback again. Life was difficult in the first half, but Ash ended up with his hand on top, throwing two fourth quarter game winning touchdowns and end a weird season for the Longhorns on a very high note.

Surprise, surprise, the SEC rule this one as well. Not the top school, which belongs to the only Big 12 program on this list (Texas, way beyond the rest), but owning 7 spots along the way. Alabama and LSU as expected, but also Auburn and Arkansas who have seen better days. Michigan represent the Big Ten while Notre Dame are the independent party in College Football’s most valuable programs.

A good rivalry needs a fair fight, and the way the Oklahoma – Texas rivalry has been played on the field the last two years means it’s not at that point right now. Both teams came in with one loss going into the game in Dallas, but the Longhorns came out of the Cotton Bowl with one of the more humiliating defeats in the Red Rivalry history.
