NCAA Tournament – Louisville & Michigan Complete Final Four Picture
The 2013 Final Four was set up after the second day of the Elite Eight weekend, as the only number one seed left in the tournament, Louisville, used the Kevin Ware injury to push them way too far and high for Duke to catch up, while Michigan showed Florida that not having any sort of offensive initiative isn’t the way to succeed against them, winning by way more than anyone expected.

Elite Eight – Duke vs Louisville Predictions
A game that could have easily been the NCAA tournament’s final if the seeding was slightly different, Duke and Louisville provide us with the only number one vs number two game in the bracket, with Big East defense and all-around solid basketball stepping up to take down incredible shooting and underrated ACC defense.

Duke Blue Devils – Enjoying Humiliating Their Biggest Rivals
If the first win over North Carolina earlier this season wasn’t enough to show just how far the 2013 Duke version is from their eternal biggest rivals, a second, much more dominant performance at Chapel Hill, led by Seth Curry and Mason Plumlee, made everyone see the clear distance between the two teams.

Duke Blue Devils – Ryan Kelly Brings Them Back on Top
After two losses coming in less than two weeks, the Duke road to the number one spot in the nation seemed closed. It still probably is, at least for another week, but getting Ryan Kelly back with a career-like performance, while beating Miami, the best team in the ACC so far this season, is probably good enough to feel happy about what they’ve done.

Virginia Cavaliers – Deciding Duke Won’t be Number One
After Indiana lost to Minnesota, the debate was about how Duke or Gonzaga will be the number one team in the nation, and who deserves it more. Virginia, with a huge night from Joe Harris, made sure it’s no longer a question.

Duke Blue Devils – Should Have Been Easier
It’s never easy in a rivalry game, even at home. Still, the number two team in the nation right now, Duke, probably should have done a little bit better facing a so-so North Carolina team, that made life very difficult for a group of guys many think are a bit overrated regarding their national championship hopes.

Cincinnati Bearcats – Brendon Kay Brings Back the Smiles
It wasn’t the easiest of months for Brendon Kay or anyone involved with the Cincinnati program. It wasn’t about winning or losing, but mostly about finding out their head coach for the past three seasons is moving on to bigger and better. Still, the Belk Bowl was the perfect chance to put everything behind them.

Duke Blue Devils – Mason Plumlee’s Turn to Shine
This is going to be the argument this week – Have Duke done enough to take over the number one spot in the nation, at least with the voters, at the expense of Indiana? A very big night from Mason Plumlee and yet another win over a top 5 opponent suggests that the Blue Devils deserve that spot.

Duke Blue Devils – Quinn Cook’s Turn to Shine
Duke aren’t a team filled with stars, but there is a clear hierarchy, with Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry taking the higher spots. Still, Quinn Cook was the one who shined during the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, winning the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player award while surprisingly taking over a game between two top five teams.

ACC – Who Will Reach the Conference Championship Game
The ACC Coastal isn’t one of College Football’s most formidable divisions, but the race to win it is a pretty exciting one. Three teams: Miami, Georgia Tech and Duke (!!!) still have a chance to win it and face the winner of the ACC Atlantic, which will probably end up to be Florida State.
