Jeremy Lin Kinda Flat, Kemba Walker Changes Nothing, Steve Clifford Stupidly Stubborn, Hornets Need Miracle
The Miami Heat take a 2-0 lead over the Charlotte Hornets with a 115-103 win. Steve Clifford thought everything was fine, so why change things this time around? Kemba Walker scored meaningless points, Jeremy Lin had a difficult to define game, but overall, the Heat keep having their way on both ends of the floor, comfortably rolling towards what should be a place in the conference semifinals.

NBA Playoffs – Cavaliers, Heat & Clippers Take 2-0 Lead
The NBA Playoffs march on towards possibly conclusions in the first round, as there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of series capable of going the distance. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers moved on comfortably to take a 2-0 lead without the Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers giving them a lot of trouble.

Hornets @ Heat, Game 2: Jeremy Lin Waiting for Steve Clifford to Wake Up
Time to see what the Charlotte Hornets are made of or more accurately – if Steve Clifford watched and learned what he should from the first game against the Miami Heat. Less Kemba Walker, more Jeremy Lin, demand his defense to help in mismatches and yell at them to move the ball.

NBA Playoffs – Golden State Warriors Have Klay Thompson & Andre Iguodala to Cover for Their Injured MVP
The glimmer of hope the Houston Rockets had of turning their playoff series with the Golden State Warriors around was whisked away with a loss in game 2 despite not facing Stephen Curry. Turns out Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala and the others can handle themselves just fine.

6th Man of the Year: Jeremy Lin Wasn’t Robbed, Jamal Crawford Doesn’t Deserve It
Handing the Sixth Man of the Year award to Jamal Crawoford for the third time in his career suggests the people voting for it haven’t been watching a lot of basketball this season. I’m not sure Jeremy Lin did enough to win it, but it probably should have gone to someone else.

NBA Playoffs – Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James Not Worried About the Detroit Pistons
The Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t put up the best of defensive performance in game 1 of their first round playoff series, but the close game is far from an indication that LeBron James and crew are going to struggle getting by their current opponents.

Jeremy Lin Criminally Misused, Steve Clifford Looks Lost, Charlotte Hornets in Trouble
It’s hard to think of one word that descibes how bad the Charlotte Hornets looked in game of their first round NBA Playoffs series, losing 123-91 to the Miami Heat. Steve Clifford looked clueless, Kemba Walker showed how useless a scoring point guard can be, everyone forgot how to pass the ball and Jeremy Lin was underused, misused and generally put in a position which denied him and the team any chance of succeeding.

NBA Rumors – Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry & Draymond Green Have the Perfect Playoff Opponent
The worst thing about the series between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets for those who want to see two-sided affairs in the NBA playoffs is that the Rockets are exactly what the Warriors eat up for breakfast when they’re thinking about their ideal opponent.

NBA Rumors – Indiana Pacers Remind the Toronto Raptors Paul George is the Best Player in the Series
Losing the opening game in the first round series, at home nonetheless, was a punch to the stomach and the ego of the Toronto Raptors. A team backed by a franchise-best regular season. With the backcourt of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, arguably the best in the league after those dudes from the Bay Area. And then came the Indiana Pacers, and especially Paul George.

Jeremy Lin Playoffs Begin, Charlotte Hornets Need Him More Than Ever
Whether the Charlotte Hornets have a good postseason or not (which means winning at least one series); whether Jeremy Lin is pleased with his accomplishments in the playoffs, this is just the bridge to an offseason in which Lin is most likely going to find himself another team to play for.
