Alabama Over Auburn – SEC West Gets its Predictable Ending
Despite the roller coaster season in the SEC West, the ending was the predictable one: Alabama beating Auburn 55-44 to win the division and go to play for the conference title as the number one team in the nation, surviving the Blake Sims interception show by unleashing Amari Cooper, left wide open or in one on one coverage too many times, leaving the Tigers helpless in their attempts to ruin the Crimson Tide’s season for a second straight year.

It’s not over yet in the SEC West, but Alabama beating Mississippi State, handing the Bulldogs their first loss of the season with a punishing brand of the best defense in the nation, puts the Crimson Tide in pole position in the division and one win away from making the conference championship game.

Alabama Over LSU – Clearing Up the SEC West Situation
After losing to Alabama at home (again) LSU won’t be competing for anything major this season, losing 13-20 in overtime as Anthony Jennings put on an appalling performance, while Blake Sims got a grip of himself when it mattered the most, leading the Crimson Tide to a win that keeps all their hopes of winning the division, the conference and making the playoffs intact.

Alabama Crimson Tide – Destroying the Last Hope for Texas A&M
If anyone had any doubt left about the bluff called Texas A&M, Alabama ended those with a crushing 59-0 win against the Aggies, rebounding from a rough couple of weeks and proving once again that they’re more than worthy to be considered among the candidates in the SEC to make the College Football playoffs.

As long as it was a game of turnovers and lack of precision, Florida managed to hang with a much better Alabama team.
