Regardless of those inner problems, the Portland Trail Blazers with Damian Lillard in the vanguard handled them with ease en route to a 106-94 win.

Portland Trail Blazers – Damian Lillard & LaMarcus Aldridge Carrying the Load
One of the goals this season for the Portland Trail Blazers was to improve as a team, which meant a better bench and obviously making the playoffs. Despite offseason changes and the postseason they’ll finally be back to, they’re still overly dependent on Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge, which isn’t such a bad thing against bad teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, coming away with the 124-112 win.

Lakers Keep Going Where Bryant Points and Words Take Them
Kobe Bryant talking about the Lakers mishandling the Pau Gasol situation seemed to refocus the team as they stormed the Staples Center, leaving no chance for the Portland Trail Blazers in a 103-92 win, that showed everything the Los Angeles Lakers have going for them (Bryant, Bynum-Gasol) and their two major problems at Point Guard and Small Forward.
