Time has passed since his visit and nothing has really come out of it, although it seems the interest is back on for both sides, and might finally be completed for both sides after the NFL draft.

After a groin injury made him miss most of last season, Daryl Smith, departing the Jacksonville Jaguars, isn’t seeing a lot of interest around the NFL in this free agency period, but recently was picked up by the radar of the St. Louis Rams, in need of a veteran linebacker who is quite productive and varied in the positions he can play in, something Smith fits the description of when healthy.
