UConn Over Iowa State – Shooting Makes All the Difference
The Sweet Sixteen game between UConn and Iowa State was going to be the highest scoring encounter of the stage and didn’t disappoint, but having more balance, with DeAndre Daniels, Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright, proved to be more important than one star doing all the work, as the Huskies moved into the Elite Eight with a 81-76 win.

Obviously, Shabazz Napier, maybe the best senior left in College Basketball, got most of the praise for leading Connecticut to a 65-64 win over Florida, remaining undefeated in a slightly surprising start to the season. However, his buzzer beating shot wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for DeAndre Daniels saving the day and tipping the ball his way.
