While players, coaches and owners in the NBA love to use the phrase ‘it’s just business, it’s quite clear that the situation between the Phoenix Suns and their restricted free agent Eric Bledsoe has deteriorated beyond that point, and although he’ll likely play for the team next season, it’s not hard to figure out he doesn’t really want to do it.

A big ego and greedy agents have brought the situation between Eric Bledsoe and the Phoenix Suns to an uncomfortable position, which looks like will end in him taking the qualifying offer. It hurts the relationship between the team and the player, but also makes him lose money which he’ll find very difficult to make up for when he signs his next contract, even as an unrestricted free agent.

Although Eric Bledsoe and his agents thinks he deserves a massive contract extension, he’ll soon realize that what the Phoenix Suns have been offering is as good as it’s going to get for him, at least in this NBA off-season.
