NBA Scores & Standings
A night of comebacks, with the Portland Trail Blazers and Boston Celtics on the right end of them, although what most people will talk about today is James Harden getting called for two offensive fouls in the end of the Rockets loss at Boston.

NBA Rumors: Boston Celtics, Marcus Smart & the Third Year Test
Entering his third season in the NBA, Marcus Smart is expecting to become a bigger contributor for the Boston Celtics, with the team having the option to release him after the season.

Flop of the Playoffs – Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics Channeling his Oklahoma State Days
Back when Marcus Smart was a star in Stillwater for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, he picked up quite a few haters thanks to his never ending flopping. While he has kept that part of his game lowkey since starting his NBA career, it’s sometimes stronger than him, and came back big time in game 3 of the playoff series with the Atlanta Hawks.

NBA Summer League, Day 3 – Marcus Smart & Dante Exum Outshine Rookies; Jahlil Okafor Not Bad Either
The third day of the NBA Summer League meant spreading out to other locations. Games were still going on in Orlando, with Myles Turner, Mario Hezonja, Aaron Gordon, Mitch McGary, Justise Winslow and Stanley Johnson doing well as usual, while in Salt Lake City Jahlil Okafor had a nice debut, while Marcus Smart and Dante Exum stole the show from the rookies in the other game.

NBA Playoffs – Boston Celtics Might Make it Thanks to Marcus Smart
It’s been an up and down rookie season for Marcus Smart, but his buzzer beating layup might be the highlight for him and the Boston Celtics, as a 117-116 win over the Toronto Raptors puts them in a position to make the NBA playoffs.

New York Knicks – Carmelo Anthony Not Off to a Great Preseason
Following Carmelo Anthony through the summer gives us a glimpse of someone trying to be optimistic although there aren’t a lot of reasons to be. NBA Preseason – Boston Celtics Have Hope, Philadelphia 76ers Still Terrible
The Boston Celtics won’t make the playoffs this season. Neither will the Philadelphia 76ers, but even without Rajon Rondo (who might get traded at some point), there’s some ready talent on this team and not just extremely young players backed with too many draft picks. For Sixers fans, it’s just going to be another season of hovering around or having the worst record in the NBA.

17 Best Memes of the 2014 NBA Draft
As always, the NBA Draft was about making fun of suits and reactions, not just seeing who goes where. Andrew Wiggins dazzled, Joel Embiid and Zach LaVine made everyone laugh while the Miami Heat kept on doing everything they can to make LeBron James happy by adding Shabazz Napier.

NBA Rumors – Boston Celtics Trying to Trade Rajon Rondo to the Sacramento Kings
The rumors surrounding the impeding departure of Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics via trade have been going on for years, but maybe there’s a bit more seriousness to them this time, as the efforts to rebuild might send the point guard for the 8th overall pick the Sacramento Kings have, which will then lead the Celtics to draft Marcus Smart or Elfrid Payton with one of their two first round picks.

NBA Rumors – Marcus Smart And His Plummeting Draft Stock
Believe it or not, the shoving incident might not hurt Marcus Smart when it comes to his draft stock, but other issues which have to with his inability to improve as a shooter and certain size problems that might get in the way when he goes into the NBA seem a bit more relevant to scouts getting their notes ready for the draft.
