NHL Playoffs – New York Rangers Very Close, Montreal Canadiens Out of Options
We’ve already seen in these NHL playoffs that initial home ice advantage means nothing, and the New York Rangers are close to proving that again as they take a 3-1 lead in the Eastern conference finals, beating the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 with an overtime goal of non other than Martin St. Louis as they had back to Canada with a chance to finish off the series.

Home court advantage or taking an early lead isn’t helping the Montreal Canadiens in the Eastern conference finals as the New York Rangers beat them 3-1 to take a 2-0 lead despite playing away from home and going down early to a Max Pacioretty. Ryan McDonagh, Rick Nash and of course Martin St. Louis had no problem turning the tide, as the Bell Centre “curse” seems to be something in ancient history.
