The Springboks were the only team last year to fail and win both matches against Argentina, but it seems that the weakening of Los Pumas should make the opening match between the two sides a less than even affair.

Second Half Pressure Too Much for Pumas (All Blacks vs Argentina)
In the first half the stormy weather and a surprisingly tenacious and efficient Argentina took the All Blacks by surprise. Squads for the 2012 Rugby Championship
No more Tri-Nations. From now on, these are the Rugby Championships, the Southern Hemisphere annual rugby union competition, as Argentina make their debut, hoping that the challenge of facing Australia, New Zealand and South Africa on an annual basis proves to be a positive thing instead of just constant losing and a demoralizing experience.

Perfect Kicking and Grabage Time Tries (All Blacks vs Argentina)
The All Blacks had a rough first half in their quarter final against Argentina, but Piri Weepu’s perfect kicking (7 for 7 penalty kicks) and later on Kieran Read and Brad Thorn’s tries gave New Zealand a 33-10 win in the quarter final, setting up a match vs Australia in the Semis.

A Tragic Ending (Argentina vs Scotland)
Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino scored the only try of the match with Scotland celebrating second earlier after a Dan Parks drop goal. Settling for the 3 points instead of going for the try or eating up the clock eventually doomed the Scottish side, losing 13-12, now in a must win situation before facing England.
