A lot of people like the other stuff too: Dunk contest, three-point shootout, rising stars challenge which was Team USA vs Team World this time and even the celebrities going at it, which on this occasion was Team Canada against Team USA.

The East won, John Wall came out as the big winner from what used to be the biggest part of All-Star Saturday and now is just some awkward sequence with very few moments that get the crowd engaged.

The community of NBA fans will have to live with the fact that LeBron James isn’t going to compete in the Slam Dunk Contest yet again and probably never will. However, it doesn’t mean he can’t perform like one of the best in the business, putting on quite a show after a Miami Heat practice, which obviously went viral and has everyone convinced it’s actually better than anything we’ll see during the All-Star weekend.

There’s a problem with what used to be the signature moment of the All-Star weekend, but is now stretching a concept that seems to have gone quite boring and stale in recent years. People like Terrence Ross and Jeremy Evans, but aren’t that interested in seeing them battle for the Slam Dunk Contest crown.
