College Football Rumors – BYU Cougars & Taysom Hill Can’t Catch a Break
The BYU Cougars are going to be without Taysom Hill at quarterback for another season, this time not completing one full game before finding out it’s over for him in 2015. They did beat Nebraska on a hail mary from Tanner Mangum to Mitch Mathews, but that probably wasn’t too much of a consolation.

BYU Over Houston – Making the Playoffs is a Realistic Option
Beating on a team from Texas for a second straight week, this time with a 33-25 over Houston and another big game for quarterback Taysom Hill, BYU find themselves looking more and more like a team that could go through this season undefeated, which would make things very interesting for the College Football Playoffs committee considering they’re not a power conference member.

BYU Over Texas – It’ll Get Worse Before it Gets any Better
There are no magic tricks to fix an ailing program as Charlie Strong learned, losing for the first time as the head coach of Texas with a humiliating home defeat against BYU which did introduce a new Longhorns quarterback, Tyrone Swoops, but that was too little and obviously not enough against the Cougars, running all over the defense that stood in front of them.
