Sweden beating Switzerland 1-0 with a fluke goal was just the set up for the drama between England and Colombia. 1-1 after 120 minutes leading to penalty kicks, which is something England feat the most. Despite falling behind in the count, Colombia mess up, Jordan Pickford makes an amazing save, and Eric Dier gets it done.

2018 World Cup: Round of 16 Results & Highlights (Brazil vs Mexico, Belgium vs Japan)
In a day that made up for the slightly sluggish matches of yesterday, Brazil and Belgium did as expected to set up a mega quarter finals clash. While Brazil dominated and won deservedly against the traditional round of 16 loserism of Mexico, Belgium needed a massive comeback to overcome Japan thanks to their subs and one massive goalkeeper mistake, coming back from 2 goals down.

2018 World Cup – Day 14 Results & Table (South Korea vs Germany, Mexico vs Sweden, Serbia vs Brazil, Switzerland vs Costa Rica)
While Group E provided us with little drama as Brazil beat Serbia and Switzerland drew with Costa Rica to qualify from the top two spots, the earlier matches in Group F were truly stunning: South Korea beat Germany 2-0 to send the world champions after three matches, despite getting a huge favor from Sweden, stunning Mexico with a 3-0 win.

2018 World Cup – Day 13 Results & Table (Denmark vs France, Australia vs Peru, Nigeria vs Argentina, Iceland vs Croatia)
A day that started in dull Group C encounters ended with a huge drama in Group D, as Argentina beat Nigeria 2-1 to join Croatia in the round of 16 thanks to an 87th minute goal by Marcos Rojo, who also handled the ball with his hand earlier but escaped being penalized by the referee. Denmark and France provided the first goalless draw of the tournament as they both qualified.

2018 World Cup: Day 12 Results & Table (Uruguay vs Russia, Saudi Arabia vs Egypt, Iran vs Portugal, Spain vs Morocco)
Day 12 of the 2018 World Cup gave us the first set of qualifiers to the round of 16. Uruguay beat Russia to finish on top of Group A, which means Spain, drawing with Morocco to finish first in group B, will play against the hosts in their round of 16 match while Portugal, who failed to beat Iran, have to play a very difficult Uruguay side in the knockout stage.

2018 World Cup: Day 11 Results & Table (England vs Panama, Japan vs Senegal, Poland vs Colombia)
Another fantastic day of matches in the 2018 World Cup, starting with England thrashing Panama and Harry Kane’s hat trick, giving England their first knockout stage World Cup ticket since 2010. Later on, Japan and Senegal drew in a terrific performance to remain on top of Group H, followed by Colombia sending Poland home, while giving themselves one last opportunity to finish in the top two.

Belgium thrashed Tunisia, Mexico beat South Korea to almost qualify to the knockout stage. But the biggest moment of day 10 was Toni Kroos giving Germany hope of staying in this World Cup with a 95th minute goal against Sweden.
