A 91-89 scoreline isn’t something you expect from Syracuse games, but Duke got out the best of the soon-to-be number one team in the nation, making a game of it even after Jabari Parker was fouled out on a soft charging call, managing to push the game into overtime after some big shooting from Rasheed Sulaimon.

Villanova vs Syracuse – ACC Better to be Undefeated in
What used to be a major Big East battle is now something of a conference bragging rights rivalry game, but Villanova couldn’t focus on that to hold on to their early lead in the Carrier Dome, with Syracuse eventually pulling away for a very impressive 78-62 victory, remaining undefeated before beginning their conference play in the ACC for the first time.
