It looks like the Big 12 is moving ahead with its plans to expand the conference, as BYU, Cincinnati, UConn, Colorado State, Memphis, Houston and UCF have all been in touch with different members of the conference, hoping they’ll be the ones to get picked.

College Football Realignment – Big 12 Courted by Colorado State, Houston, Memphis & UCF
It seem inevitable now that the Big 12 (which has ten teams) won’t expand back to 12 teams in the near future. Memphis, Houston, UCF and Colorado State seem to be the schools most aggressively pursuing an invitation.
